Ted Tsukiyama’s Book Launch

Sunday, June 4, 2017, Harris United Methodist Church, Honolulu, Hawaii

Many gathered today to attend the book launch reception for Ted’s new book entitled: My Life’s Journey: A Memoir.

Sponsored by the NVLC, Watermark Publishing is pleased to announced the release of this riveting new memoir by Ted Tsukiyama — veteran, attorney, community leader, historian and public speaker.

Like so many Japanese Americans born in the years following World War I, Ted was shaped by the Great Depression, fought with honor in WWII — even as other AJAs were exiled in internment camps — and went on to contribute much to his country’s success and prosperity. In a life that has spanned nearly a century, he has been a proud member of the U.S. Army’s 442nd Regimental Combat Team, a military intelligence operative serving in the jungles of Burma, a groundbreaking nisei student at Yale Law, and internationally renowned attorney and a missionary of the art of bonsai.

Copies of the book can be purchased online at: https://www.bookshawaii.net/tsukiyama-memoir.html.
