Nisei Veterans Legacy Fundraising Event: “Preserving the Past, Inspiring the Future”

Approximately 200 friends and supporters of the NVLC organization attended the annual fundraising event. Among the honorees were several Nisei veterans of the 442nd RCT and MIS, including former Governor George Ariyoshi, who also gave the keynote speech. Steve Uyehara and Liz Chun shared the emcee duties. There was lots of great food and the evening was filled with live music provided by Sandy Tsukiyama and friends. As part of the activities, a silent auction provided the opportunity for everyone to purchase a wide range of items at bargain prices.
