2016 Joint Memorial Service Update

The 11th annual Joint Memorial Service honors the Americans of Japanese Ancestry (AJAs) who served in World War II. The Nisei Veterans Legacy conducts the annual Joint Memorial Service on the last Sunday of September. The end of September is chosen because it is when the first AJA soldier died in battle. This years’ service will be held at 10:00 am on Sunday, September 25, 2016, at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. It will commemorate the 75th anniversary of the beginning of WWII. Friends and family members of the 100th Infantry Battalion, 442nd RCT, MIS and 1399 Engineer Construction Battalion are invited to attend. The service is open to the public.
